About Us
Mission Statement: The crafts of spinning, weaving and fiber arts are as ancient as our history. They are the threads that bind us to our ancestors and to each other. We are a group of fiber enthusiasts who delve into numerous fiber-related areas. Guild members generously share their handicraft skills through individual teaching, community education/demonstrations, and guild workshops
We are located in the Driftless Region of southwest Wisconsin, southeast Minnesota and northeast Iowa among the bluffs of the Mississippi. Our members have a variety of interests, including weaving, spinning, dyeing, felting, knitting, crochet and all things fiber.
We generally meet most months of the year on the first Saturday beginning at 12:00 noon, at the Onalaska United Methodist Church, 212 4th Ave N, Onalaska, WI. Be sure to check in to confirm details for the upcoming meetings.
In 2024, we will meet February 3, March 2, April 6, May 4, June 1, August 3, October 5, November 2. No meetings in July, September or December. Watch the website for announcements of the next meeting for any variation in time or location, and if any pre-planning will be required for a workshop.
